Battle of the Dosa's

There are a few South Indian restaurants in Vancouver that feature dosas. From what I hear, House of Dosas on Kingsway is the most well-known of these establishments. Having tried three dosa restaurants -- House of Dosas, Nooru Mahal & Madras Dosa House -- I have found my personal favorite. Bear in mind I kept the competition exclusively to Masala dosa - a dosa stuffed with spiced potatoes.
#3 House of Dosas
The dosa here is good, but the filling is a little too bland for my taste. I sure hope the dosa at Nooru Mahal is a little more fragrant!
#2 Nooru Mahal
Nooru Mahal -- a solid dosa experience. This restaurant makes a dosa that incorporates more of what I was saying regarding spicy filling.
#1 Madras Dosa House
Here, in this place, Madras Dosa House, all the elements of the perfecrt dosa come together. The stainless steel tray with requisite sambar & chutney and gorgeously browned, immaculately rolled and ultimately consumed ambrosian victuals.
Here, at last, is the dosa paradise in Vancouver. The #1 masala dosa in town!
