While on my half-day trip of Cheung Chau Island, the number 1 itinerary item was to sample the local seafood - for there are restaurants here that feature swimming fish and crabs you can select yourself and enjoy while seated outdoors next to the fishing port. In fact, right next to the ferry pier is a strip of seafood restaurants with a good selection of seafood ready to be cooked in many styles of Cantonese culinary preparation - and this is where I invariably headed straight away. more...
