There is a street in Phuket that boasts rows of seafood restaurants side-by-side ready to cook for hungry patrons. Approaching from the sidewalk through a large patio covered in tables & chairs, there are many ice boxes filled with a staggering selection of fresh fish, crab, prawns and other delights from the sea.

Interestingly, patrons are expected to choose their own seafood from the iceboxes. The basket of seafood is weighed and the bill is based on this.

Dinner: Thai Style Chile Sauce Crayfish, Black Pepper Mantis Prawns, Steamed Flower Crab, Teochew Style Squid, Lemon Steamed Whole Red Snapper served on charcoal burning pot keeping the dish hot until the very last bite.
