Day Trip to Port Klang

The absolute excellent quality of seafood restaurant in Port Klang cannot, and I mean cannot be overstated. One hour and 10 minutes train-ride on Kommuter Rail out of K.L. Central, a 15 minute taxi ride from the jetty lies Sea-Sky Seafood restaurant. We came, we ate Chile Crab, we conquered! Jalan Alor (Alor Street) located near the Bukit Bintang district is a long road crowded on both sides with restaurant after Chinese-restaurant. A Chinese food-lover's dream right? Bukit Bintang Shopper's Paradise, K.L.

Bukit Bintang is a good area to stay by when in K.L. There are a plethora of hotels, shopping centres, boutiques, restaurants/cafe's/hawker stalls and entertainment. I noticed many youth like to congregate in a small square near a busy intersection and play music, street-dance and generally hang out and have a good time. Petaling Street, fondly remembered as a massively busy night market in one of K.L.'s Chinatown's. Dozens of, mostly Indian or Bangladeshi, young men hawking imitation Western brand-name clothing, accessories and other goods. Also fondly remembered as the place I first tried K.L.
