First Nations Gas Station in Squamish
Posted on 08/31/2010
Address: about 2 miles south of downtown Squamish
Just a couple miles south of Sqamish is a native-rum gas station that deserves a gas-and-go stop. If not merely to gas up someplace different, how about supporting the Native Canadians so they can provide more services in the future? Apparently there is smoked salmon and candied salmon coming soon to this outlet!
Coming from Squamish south on Highway 99.
Curiously there is no name for this station, other than in pictorial form stylized bird logo, "Spirit Bear Coffee" and the motto "Home of Salish Service".
Filler-up!
Closer view of this soon-to-be cultural icon of local pride and the entrepreneurial way.
